Privacy Policy
Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE]
The short version
- The camera is used only to count push-ups, on your phone. Video is never recorded, saved or uploaded.
- Your progress (distance, stats, unlocks, settings) is stored on your phone.
- If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address to tell you when the app launches.
- We don't sell your data, and the app has no ads.
Camera
When you play in camera mode, Rocket Push uses your iPhone's front camera and Apple's on-device body pose detection to find the position of your shoulders, elbows and wrists in each frame. Those positions are used in the moment to count reps and measure depth, then discarded.
No photos or video are recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can turn camera access off at any time in iPhone Settings and play in tap mode instead.
Information stored on your phone
The app saves your name (if you enter one), total distance flown, push-up counts, flight history by day, achievements, unlocked and equipped rocket styles, and settings such as sound and haptics. This stays on your phone and is deleted if you delete the app. You can also clear it with Settings → Reset progress.
Waitlist emails
If you sign up on rocketpush.app, we store your email address and the time you signed up. It is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. We use it only to email you about the Rocket Push launch, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Purchases
Rocket Push Pro will be sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your card details. We receive confirmation from Apple of whether a subscription is active.
Children
Rocket Push is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If we add features that collect more information, such as accounts, friends or rankings, we will update this policy before they launch and change the date at the top.
